Fictional Style Icons | Vada Sultenfuss

Please tell me you have seen My Girl? If you haven't, you need to because 1. it's incredible, 2. Macaulay Culkin is in it, and 3. it's set in the 70s and the fashion is on point.

So I'm bringing back the Fictional Style Icons feature to my blog! If you're never read them before you can read them here. Today my pick is Vada Sultenfuss, the central character in the film. Her clothing is very tomboyish with the 70s vibe that is on trend today. It's no secret that my general personal style is how a child would dress, so you can see why Vada had to be featured. I love all the dungarees, boho tops and vintage-looking striped t-shirts.

The 70's style has been a massive trend this spring/summer, and I think Vada shows off exactly what is popular on the high street right now. Off-shoulder gypsy tops and dungarees are absolutely everywhere at the moment. Vada outfits almost always consists of something denim and her white converses. She keeps it so casual and I just love it.
