I don't think I've ever introduced myself properly on the blog before. Either you started reading my word vomit yesterday or since the very beginning, it's about time we get to know each other a little better. Caution: this post is going to be very 'me, myself and I' heavy. But I would be over the moon if you left me a comment (or even a post response on your own blog) with facts about you, as I would love to read them.
My name's Lauren Sibley. I wasn't given a middle name because apparently that's too much to ask for. I am 20 and was born on the 8th of February 1994. I don't know what time exactly, as when you are the youngest of 4 children they tend to give up remembering.
I am a human being/robot/bunny rabbit
Essex born and bred. I may have the accent but fake tan is a mystery to me. I spent the first 10 years of my life living in the same house in Colchester. Then in the next 10 years I moved 5 times. I spent my tween years with my Dad in Northampton, and then migrated back to Essex when I was 12 to live with my Mum. When I finished College I moved to Kent to study for my degree at Canterbury Christ Church University.
School and College?
I studied GCSE's in Art, Media, I.T, Graphics, and of course English, Science and Maths. I then did A-Levels at Sixth Form in Creative Media Production, I.T and Photography. Once I finished, I was well and truly ready to move somewhere new and study Media and Communications at University.
I'm a typical generation Y girl. All my interests involve the internet. I love writing here on my blog, watching Shaytards on YouTube, and laughing at memes. Other than that, I spent a lot of time having film and boxset marathons, reading blogs and scrolling through Instagram. My favourite films are Donnie Darko and The Breakfast Club, and my all time favourite band is The Smiths.
I started my blog around the time I moved to University. I had been inspired by all the dedicated bloggers who put a lot of hard work into their sites. My free time was wasted on nothing in particular, so starting a blog allowed me to focus on something more productive than just sitting in front of the TV. I used my little space on the internet to share my outfits and talk about different beauty bits I had been using. I still do this on here now, but I also enjoying writing posts about my life and my other interests. Starting this blog was one of the best decisions I've ever made. It has allowed me to be creative, talk about things that make me happy and meet the loveliest people. The blogging community is so inspiring and I love being a part of it all.
So there's my autobiography compressed into a few paragraphs. Maybe you know a little bit more about me, and now I want to get to know you! Like I said at the beginning, leave me a few facts about yourself in the comments. Or you could even write up your response on your own blog. Just make sure you leave me a link as I would love to read it.
