Blogtober day 9 ...I'm doing so well!

What I've been up to
Today has been a lazy one. The past few days have been busy with University and Nevermind the Buzzcocks. So today I'm having a chilled day in. Sorting out posts and sitting in front of the TV.

Last night I got round to watching Pulp Fiction for the first time ever. I can't believe it had taken me so long to watch it, with so many people recommending it to me over the years. It's exactly what you'd expect from a Quentin Tarantino film; violence, blood and buckets full of cool. Definitely one to watch if you haven't already.

In a few hours I'll be heading to the pub to hang out with friends. Some of them I haven't sen since we finished our 2nd year in June. Super excited to see them and hear about their Summers.

Halloween Memories #tbt
I love Halloween! It’s not often you get to wear stupid outfits when you’re not 9 anymore. I don’t know about you, but there’s something more exciting about it now. Although saying that, if somebody asked me if I wanted to be a child again and go trick or treating for one night, I would probably say yes.

I think it’s more exciting for me now because it is such a rare occasion I dress up. I know a lot of people at University go to socials every week dressed up in some kind of lame theme, normally emergency services or toga. But that isn’t me. Halloween is one night where everyone is going to make an effort to dress up.

My favourite Halloween memory would have to be my best friend Charlotte’s Halloween party. I think it was in 2008, while we were still at school doing GCSE’s… so long ago! All our friends from school were there getting drunk of those cheap versions of WKD’s. My friend Chris and I dressed up as Randy and Earl from My Name is Earl (we even had the list!) It was just a really funny night and captures my teen years so well. There’s even a video from that night we bring out every once and a while to embarrass everyone.

A more recent Halloween memory was last year. My housemates and I threw a party at our house. I went as Edward Scissorhands, but annoyingly I don’t have any photos of it. By the end of the night our house was filled with people from the whole street with security and police showing up. It took us a week to clean up that mess!

What are your favourite Halloween memories?
