What I've been up to
I'm poorly. I was completely fine last night, and then I woke up this morning feeling like crap. Great. When I think about it, I think it's because I have been overworking myself. For the past few weeks I have spent nearly everyday at my desk, making sure I have my blog and my uni work under control. If I'm not doing that I'm out all day, and still worrying that I haven't decided on a dissertation topic yet.
I let myself have the day off today. I've been laying in bed playing Sims 4 while I stuff my face with chocolate, and that's what I plan on doing for the rest of the night. I might also make a cheeky online order. Nothing cures illness like next day delivery.The best advice I've been given
I don't think I have ever been given this advice directly but, "Fake it until you make it" is definitely one I try to live by. Whenever I feel shy when I really need to be confident, I just fake it and hope for the best. It works because it makes you feel real confidence. Faking it until you make it is great in positions where you need to be the best you, you can possibly be.
