Blogtober | My Dream Job, the Blogging Community & Goldie Lookin Chain

How is it October already? I swear a second ago it was Summer. I've been reading a lot of peoples blogtober posts and watching their vlogtobers, and it has made me want to get involved. So last night I decided I'm going to do it (obviously I have some catching up to do). So everyday of October I will be posting my answers to the blogtober questions and talking about what I've been up to. Hopefully you'll find it interesting but I think it's nice to keep a diary so you can look back on it one day and see what you were up to and how things have changed. If you are taking part in blogtober let me know so I can check out your answers to the questions.

What I've been up to
This week I started my third year University lectures. It's great to get into a slight routine again, but I still feel like I'm in Summer mode. Instead of doing Uni work I would much rather create posts for my blog or hang out with my friends. It doesn't help that my module is based around Media Businesses, which is definitely useful to know but it hard to get my little pea brain around.

Other than Uni, I've mostly just relaxed and watched Fresh Meat and RuPaul's Drag Race on Netflix. I've also been really inspired with my blog recently, and have created lots of new content for it. Last night I went out with my housemate to see Goldie Lookin Chain at our local. It was mostly for the laughs. Sometimes there is nothing funnier than watching men in tracksuits and gold chains, jumping around the stage pretending they're not too old to still be doing this. What was even funnier was the little old men dressed as Maggot climbing on the stage to dance with them.

Today has been a day of working on my blog. I have fallen in love with my blog all over again, and have loved thinking up new ideas for it. I've got lots of posts written up and ready to go! Tonight I agreed to go to Nandos with my housemate for dinner. I swear all I do is eat out. I should really learn to cook...

If you won the lottery you'd...
That would be the dream! I would probably...
- Buy myself somewhere to live and make it all pinteresty and cute.
- Go on a shopping spree (I would probably still shop at Primark).
- Visit my Uncle in Australia.
- Learn how to drive.
- Help out my family

Dream job when you were little/what is it now?
I was never that kid who had a dream career. That sounds kind of lame, but I always liked being a kid. Whereas my childhood best friend couldn't wait to grow up and be a teenager. My mum always tells me I once said I wanted to be a ice cream man, and I remember there was a day I wanted to be a nurse and bandaged up all my teddies. Looking back, the job area I want to work in now wasn't even that developed yet. Of course there was journalists and media agencies, but in the 90's the internet was a different place and didn't have as many careers branching out of it as it does now. So what do I want to do now? I don't know. But I know I want to write, be online, be creative and be successful.

One thing you can't live without?
Support. The world is much nicer place with family and friends who actually care and support you. I wouldn't be at University today without the support of my family, and I wouldn't be the person I am now without my friends. I probably wouldn't be writing this post without the loving support of the blogging community.

Favourite photo you posted on Instagram?
Corrr, if you know me (or you follow me on instagram) you will know I am addicted. It is definitely my favourite social network. Choosing just one is a hard decision, but I've gone for this one at the top of this post. It was taken last Autumn (which literally feels like centuries ago) and it is of the Gingerbread Latte at Costa. I love these, and it pretty much sums up how I spend Autumn and Winter.

To see more updates from me, you can follow me over on Instagram, Twitter or Google Plus.
