The Christmas Tag

Merry Christmas Eve!

What time of the year do you start your Christmas shopping?
The start of Decemeber, it doesn't feel right doing it any time before.

Do you have any festive recipes for food or drink you limit solely to the Christmas season to share?
Umm, probably celebrations and quality streets, I don't think I ever have them any other time than Christmas.

Tell me how Christmas goes home in your home
I wake up, normally watch shit TV and feel all the presents while my mum is still in bed. When it's 10am, we are finally allowed to open the presents. We don't get stockings any more, so it's just the tree presents. After I get ready for the day, I go and see my whole family for Christmas dinner and to play Christmas games.

Do you have any Christmas traditions?
On Christmas eve we always get Chinese, yay that's tonight!

Do you have a favourite festive coffee?
Not really, I do looove the festive Costa drinks this year, especially the honeycomb hot chocolate.

Do you have a favourite Christmas song?
Nothing beats a bit of Wham.

What do you do on Christmas eve?
It's just a chilled day. I like to track Santa and watch Christmas films. We then get Chinese food. YUM

What's your Christmas wrapping strategy? Do you have one?
Just the average strategy, I'm not very creative when it comes to wrapping and making it all look lovely with ribbon and stuff. I just stick to a cute patterned wrapping paper.

What's your dream gift this year?
I haven't asked for much this year, so anything will be a lovely surprise :)

Describe your Christmas tree. How tall? Real or artificial? How is it decorated?
This year we have a tall artificial tree, with red and gold decorations.

Do you decorate just the Christmas tree or other areas of your house e.g. windows, banisters?
My mum normally puts out other little decorations and stuff to make the house all Christmassy.

What do you wear to Christmas parties and what do you wear on Christmas day?
Something nice! We don't tend to dress up on Christmas day, just casual in our family :)

I hope you all have a lovely Christmas, and even if you don't celebrate it have a lovely day too!
