Lush Volcano Foot Mask

Volcano is a foot mask made up of fresh papaya and tomatoes in a clay form. It's meant to leave your feet feeling ice cool and help with dry skin. I brought this little pot of goodness the other day as my teeny little feet really needed a bit of TLC, as I have quite hard dry skin on the heels.

The mask contains fresh tomatoes which is cooling, and works along side the menthol, lemon and cinnamon which is good for stimulating circulation and makes the skin surface feel cool. The fresh papaya and pumice works on your dry skin, by rubbing and loosing the dead skin.

The instructions say to smother a thick layer of the mask all over both feet and then cover with cling film or plastic bags to stop the clay from drying. The process is really messy and I managed to get clay everywhere, which is why I only applied the clay to the soles of my feet, rather than all over. The clay only needs to be on for 10 minutes, but I left mine on for twenty as I didn't feel it doing anything. For the extra 10 minutes, my feet began to feel tingly and refreshed.

After removing the mask my feet felt cool and tingly for about two hours after. It was really refreshing and perfect for those hot nights we're having. The mask would be perfect for when you've been on your feet all day and need something to cool them down and make them feel refreshed. The mask didn't do anything for my dry skin, which was a bit disappointing  but I do think the mask is worth it just for how uplifting it is. So if you are thinking of trying this mask, I wouldn't expect long term results. Overall, I do think the mask is worth it as it's contains fresh ingredients, it's inexpensive and it leaves your feet feeling well pampered.

Have you tried the Lush Volcano foot mask, what did you think?
