Summer essentials

Sun Cream is definitely an essential for this hot weather we are having, it's so important to protect your skin. This sun cream is the Nivea Invisible Protection Transparent spray which I really like because it's a non greasy transparent liquid which can be applied so quickly, as it's a thin liquid rather than a thick lotion. It's also invisible which saves the embarrassment of patchy lotion which you haven't rubbed in!

Sea Salt Spray is a great way to get natural beach waved hair without putting more heat on your hair from tools. The Toni&Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray is my current favourite for this as it gives my hair more body and texture while adding a natural wave. You can read my full review here

The Dove Hair Nourishing Oil Care Leave-in Spray is the perfect solution to dried out hair caused by the sun. This spray is a leave in conditioner which adds moisture to the hair leaving it smooth and smelling fresh!

BB Creams are perfect for the summer if you don't want to wear a heavy foundation but still want a flawless finish. I use the Rimmel BB Cream which is a very light foundation but gives great coverage, (I actually use this all year round). Rimmel states that this BB cream 'primes, moisturises, minimises pores, conceals, covers, smoothes, mattifies and brightens' as well as it being SPF 25 to help protect your skin.

Sunglasses are my favourite accessory for the summer. They are great for protecting your eyes from the sun as well as pollen, if you suffer from Hayfever like I do. Without my sunglasses my eyes would be consistently watering! I also love all the different styles you can pick up in the shops, these ones are the #OTO3570 from Firmoo which I love the classic style of, but I also really like my Primark oval sunglasses at the moment, which you can see here

Peachy pink blushers look so gorgeous on a summers day. This one is the much hyped Peach Melba by Natural Collection, which is a lovely peach shade. The blusher is very pigmented and long lasting. It also retails at £1.99 which is super cheap and cheerful.

Collection Hot Looks nail polish in Electric Dreams is a summery bluey green shade which is fast drying and great quality. I really like this colour for the summer time as it's very refreshing and reminds me of the sea when you're on holiday abroad.

Coral Lipsticks in my opinion look lovely in the summer, especially when paired with a coral or pink blusher. This one is the Topshop lipstick in Whimsical which is my go-to lipstick this summer. You can see my full review here

Music and summer goes perfectly together, which is why I included my iPod. I love listening to pop punk in the summer time, which is why my favourite boys in the whole world Fall Out Boy are playing in the photo. I also have loved listening to Haim and Summer Camp which are so summery and you can never feel stressed listening to either of them. Also you can never go a whole Summer without listening to this classic.

What are your summer essentials, is there anything I missed out?
